Tom Brady tried a new role on the O-line as he switched roles with his running back Leonard Fournette. The outcome of it might end up going down as one of the funniest plays featuring Tom Brady.

Tom Brady had fun on the pitch

In the third quarter, when the Buccaneers had a comfortable 14-point lead, they thought of treating the German fans to an exclusive showing of the legendary quarterback. The play has gone viral ever since and rightly so. Brady was on the sideline as QB Leonard Fournette threw the ball at him. He slipped, and the play led to a Seahawks interception.

As the play progressed, he even drew a penalty-adding to his embarrassment. For the Germans that didn’t know him, they would’ve thought he was fresh out of high school.

In his latest Sirius XM podcast, Brady addressed this situation. As usual, he was classy even about this play. “Embarrassment and shame at the same time on the same play. I won’t forget that play,” said Brady as he acknowledged, making a fool of himself with poise.

Brady even revealed that this play came from a secret desire of his. “I haven’t had many receptions in my career, so I thought it would be pretty cool to get one in Germany.” He even took the platform to make fun of his speed as he called himself “very, very slow.” Though his wheels aren’t his specialty, the pace the 45-year-old showed on the pitch was quite funny for Tom Brady’s standards.

Eventually, he is Tom Brady and has dominated the football pitch for twenty-three years. Such plays by him are good for viewership and some he can be let off for. The legendary quarterback can go easy on himself and enjoy this as a light moment in his illustrious career. He won’t be in action this coming week given it’s the Bucs’ bye week. TB12 will be back in action when they travel to Cleaveland.
