San Francisco 49ers QB Trey Lance approached the new season with fresh hopes. However, he has to leave the scene midway as the 22-year-old suffered a broken ankle in the game against the Seahawks. The 49ers won it 27-7 but lost a talented member of their squad.

The promising talent underwent surgery and posted a photo on Twitter. He called the surgery a success and added he was ready to attack the rehab process. The young gun also added that he will be back better than ever, and this chapter is going to make the story even happier. Soon, Twitter users wished Lance a speedy recovery.

How did Trey Lance got injured?
Before going down with the injury, Lance was 2 of 3 for 30 yards in the passing department. He also had 13 yards rushing. The future star underwent surgery after the game. Head coach Kyle Shanahan expressed concern but added that it gets somber in the dressing room.
Trey Lance rose to fame in his college years as a bankable star. He played football at North Dakota State and received the Walter Payton and Jerry Rice Awards. What is next for the QB?
Being injured, Lance can possibly miss the entire season. The team will have to find out a new man to replace him. Meanwhile, he can take a cue from the past. NFL titans like Tom Brady missed the game in the past. In 2008, TB12 suffered from ACL and sat out for a long period.
