Tom Brady has been in the news of late. But unlike most times, it’s not for his accomplishments on the football field. Instead, it’s because of what he’s been up to over the course of the offseason.
From appearing in interviews to playing a charity golf game on the side, the seven-time Super Bowl winner has had his hands full over the past few weeks.
And recently he made a splash by making an explosive comment during an interview on HBO’s The Shop. The show is co-hosted by NBA star LeBron James and his long-time friend and businessman Maverick Carter.

Appearing on the show, Brady talked about his experience with free agency before the start of the 2020 NFL season. The QB was let go of by the New England Patriots and ultimately joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
But apart from the Bucs, several other teams were interested in taking a chance with Brady as well. But one side backed up, and it’s something that Tom Brady took personally.
The snub prompted Brady to question the team’s decision-making and prompted him to say, “You’re sticking with the mother**ker?”.
This got the world talking. Who exactly was this quarterback that Tom Brady was referring to? Was it Jimmy Garoppolo of the 49ers? Or perhaps Mitch Trubisky of the Chicago Bears?
Whoever it was, Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr believes it is definitely not him.

“From what I know it wasn’t me, which is good,” Carr said. “I know you got the rings, but if it’s not me then we’re good. What I heard, it wasn’t me. And so I’m good with that,” he added.
