It was one of those moments when the GOAT had a hard time watching somebody else play because he couldn’t surpass the wild card round. However, the veteran didn’t refrain from spectating the game. In fact, he kept a close watch on the detailing of these events. He opened up about his feelings about watching the match on the latest podcast.
Although Brady announced retirement from his playing career, the Seven-time Super Bowl Champion will kickstart a new journey in 2023. In order to ace his upcoming TV analyst debut, the quarterback is preparing the best way possible. While speaking in the recent episode of the ‘Let’s Go! Podcast’, Brady opened up on this year’s Super Bowl game and how he plans to approach things moving forward.
Brady had all eyes on the Super Bowl match

Jim Grey asked Brady whether he viewed the game as a fan or a player. “I think a little bit of both, and I think what I watched more yesterday as I did listen to the broadcast, intently listening to how the game was called,” Brady said in the podcast.
“I was watching the players watching the quarterbacks, i was watching some of the defense, and obviously as a fan of the sport, so I basically covered every base we had. you know there’s a lot of different things for me to watch for now,” he added.
The 45-year-old was clearly pointing at his upcoming stint with FOX sports. If everything goes according to the plan, Brady fans worldwide can see him calling games on the big stage. That too, for a long period of 10 seasons.
Speaking about his career, the quarterback earned countless accolades making him the only athlete in NFL history to achieve this feat. All those seven Super Bowl titles, 14 Pro Bowls, and five Super Bowl MVPs happen to be evidence of this notion.
Tom Brady bids an emotional good-bye
When the quarterback came out of his first retirement last year, everyone expected him to stay longer. Especially after he couldn’t succeed in the playoffs, Brady’s name got associated with several NFL teams for the upcoming season.

But the veteran had everything decided, and he knew when it was the right time. “I’m retiring. For good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record, and let you guys know first,” an emotional Brady said in his viral retirement snippet.
