While winning the Super Bowl LVII, Travis Kelce also got the opportunity to host the historic Saturday Night Live show in March. He joined the list of other greats, such as Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, as the host of the 15-year-long-running NBC show.
In a recent episode of ‘The Steam Room’, Ernie and Chuck questioned the 2x Super Bowl-winning TE about how different was it hosting the SNL from playing in a Super Bowl. Answering this question, Travis Kelce took a deep breath and said, “It was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. It’s hard for me to say that it wasn’t like the coolest thing I’ve ever done. Because playing in two Super Bowl has always been my dream. But secretly, being on SNL has always been a dream of mine.”
Further talking about the final rehearsal before the live show, Kelce said, “The dress rehearsal, right before the actual live show, man I was shaking. I really don’t get too nervous. I get more excited for opportunities than I get nervous about opportunities. And man I was in my head about it all.”
