“I was fortunate, though. Unlike many full-time mothers, I’d had the opportunity to start working at a very young age, and my many years of hard work had given me financial freedom,” she wrote. Because she already had worked and made great contacts, she could complete her modeling gigs in less time and be available for her family. However, it took a lot of hard work for the model to submerse into that role because Gisele had to give up an important thing.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel married her ex-hubby, Tom Brady, in 2009. Their love story was nothing less than that of a princess and a prince. But Bündchen had to make an important decision in order to give her absolute best to her family.

The 42-year-old did something that is very relatable to many mothers. To make her marriage work efficiently, the runway model put her modeling career on the back burner. Gisele realized that being a mother was way more difficult than being a model. Therefore, to take care of her little children, Bündchen’s career took a “backseat.”
Despite retiring from the fashion industry, Gisele had no regrets. She called that stage of her life “The Valley.” She was on a mountain before. At the top.
