During Wisdom 2.0’s 2018 Mindfulness in America Summit in New York City, Journalist Anderson Cooper questioned Bündchen regarding Lessons from creating a Meaningful life. Gisele spoke highly about the effects of meditation in her life.

When Anderson asked about meditation’s impact, Gisele responded, “I think the breathing and the meditation daily really helped me. Because it centered me and it helped me become the observer versus being like, in the middle of the storm, I was able to kind of step back and see that. Almost like I was able to watch my life as a movie, and by taking a step back, I was kind of being able to kind of remove myself from that anxiety and from the middle of that feeling of not being able to catch my breath and feeling like I was gonna pass out.”

At that time, a 23-year-old Gisele was in the news waves. She was dating one of Hollywood’s top actors, Leonardo DiCaprio, and was involved in a pretty serious relationship.
