Bruce is now heading to the Buccaneers’ front office and handing over the reins to defensive coordinator Todd Bowles. People consider his gesture to be altruistic, as he wishes for his succession to manage the Bay while ace quarterback Tom Brady remains at the helm. According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Arians, who led the Buccaneers to Super Bowl glory in 2020, wanted to ensure that he informs his team regarding his stunning move before the news surfaced. He wrote a heartfelt mass text, explaining his intentions and extending his profound thanks.
He mentions in the message, “First, I want to apologize that I’m having to send this note out in a mass text, but there really isn’t another option this time of the year. I wanted to let you all know, before it becomes news in a few minutes, that I have made the decision to transition from coaching into a role in the front office helping Jason (Licht) and his staff.”

Arians congratulated all of his players from the previous three seasons for their dedication and commitment. He further mentions that he returned to mentoring in order to achieve his greatest ambition of winning the Playoffs.
The two-time Associated Press Coach of the Year will now work in the front administration. He will consult the Buccaneers in company affairs.

Following quarterback Tom Brady’s retirement announcement in February, Arians’ resignation is the second huge announcement for the Bucs this offseason. Although, the quarterback is back after a 41-day gap and will head into his 23rd season in the NFL.

Todd Bowles, the Buccaneers’ new head coach, spent the previous three seasons as the Buccaneers’ defensive coordinator and rapidly transformed a lackluster defense into a formidable force. Bowles has unquestionably improved the Buccaneers.
Tampa Bay currently has Tom Brady in the play-calling stance, retaining most of the Super Bowl LV winning team. Chris Godwin is now a part of the Bay. It happened at the same time as the comeback of Pro Bowl center Ryan Jensen cornerback Carlton Davis, and also the signing of Logan Ryan, a former New England Patriots teammate of Brady. The trade for Patriots guard Shaq Mason, who spent five seasons with Brady, also took place.
