His electric personality has been able to influence others for decades and the 59-year-old former two-sport athlete knows how to use it to his advantage. However, even with his estimated $50 net worth, he recently called out for help acquiring a priceless asset. 

Coach Prime was able to turn hype into history. The opening game of the 2023 season, heralding the beginning of Deion Sanders’ tenure at Colorado, transitioned from being a headline-grabber to a historic milestone in NFL annals. Coach Prime guided a team of 86 fresh Colorado recruits, most handpicked by him during a significant roster makeover, to an extraordinary 45-42 triumph over TCU, against the Horned Frogs. The stadium recorded new milestones not only on the field but off the field as well.

Deion Sanders is known to be fashion-forward with an eye for classic and iconic statement pieces. In his recent Instagram Story, he shared a poster curated by Walters and Hogsett Jewelers that featured a Santos De Cartier watch, captioned, “It’s Prime Time!” “I want this watch, can someone from this watch company please reach @mam_sorini,” wrote the coach atop it, declaring his wish to acquire it. 

The medium-sized Santos watch depicted in his story is a timeless Cartier piece, featuring a precise automatic movement (caliber 1847 MC), combining a steel case with an 18K yellow gold bezel and a synthetic spinel-adorned 7-sided crown. Its silvered opaline dial is complemented by blued steel hands and protected by sapphire crystal. It comes with two interchangeable bracelets – a steel one with “SmartLink” adjustment and a calfskin one, both featuring the “QuickSwitch” system. It is interesting to notice that the highest-paid coach in Colorado history seeking help in acquiring an asset. Coach Prime stands on a $50 million empire as of 2023. A significant portion of his wealth, approximately $33.5 million, was amassed during his 14-season NFL career. Additionally, he earned an estimated $13.2 million during his nine-season stint in MLB. Sanders currently holds the position of a head coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, under a lucrative five-year contract valued at nearly $30 million. 

His ability to attract attention has been able to drive his coaching career to new heights. Sanders was able to break not only field records but also profit records made on his opening match this season.

Sanders breaking records off the field 

The hype generated around the new head coach culminated in record-breaking ticket sales as numerous people swarmed to the stadium to witness the Colorado Buffaloes in action. On Wednesday, the Buffaloes recorded an impressive single-day ticket sale of 11,273, setting a new team record for individual game sales. Moreover, the school has completely sold out its season-ticket allocation, marking the first instance of such a sellout since 1996.

The demand for front-row seats to witness the transformative performance of the University of Colorado under Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders is exceptionally high, and for good reason. After opening the season at TCU on Sept. 2 the team is all set to host Nebraska the next weekend.
