“I Trust Him”: Years Before Tom Brady’s Divorce, Gisele Bündchen Praised Her Ex-Husband for Donning the Hat of a Perfect Family Man

Ever since Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen divorced in October last year, the duo has been linked to a multitude of potential dating candidates. Brady has had his share of younger supermodel rumors. And 42-year-old Bündchen had to go out of her way to squash dating linkups with billionaires. However, during the 13 years that the two were married, these headlines seldom surfaced. The Brady-Bündchen household was the perfect unit of harmony and trust. And Tom was the perfect family man. At least, that’s what his ex-wife believes.

In her 2018 memoir, ‘Lessons: My Path To A Meaningful Life’, Gisele went into detail about the positive influence of seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady on her life and their marriage.

2022 was quite the year for Tom Brady and Gisele. First, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced his retirement in February, only to go back on his decision 40 days later. The fractures started showing in the power couple’s relationship as Brady even took an 11-day break from his preseason training camp to attend to marital matters. However, that didn’t salvage the situation as the couple ended things amicably late in October 2022. But throughout the entire separation saga, one thing that didn’t surface at all was any cheating rumors from the NFL icon. And for good reason.

All his life, Brady has been nothing but dependable. Brady took his talents to South Florida but his characteristics didn’t change. “As his teammates will tell you, Tom is someone you can count on. It’s a quality I hadn’t experienced in any of my other romantic relationships. I love my husband. And most of all, I trust him. With Tom, who provides our family with a stable foundation, I’m able to create a home,” Gisele wrote back in 2018.

Tom finally hung it up this year. And for good this time. Brady has been spending most of his post-retirement time with his kids. When talks of another comeback started making the rounds, the 15x Pro Bowler shut the door on that possibility because of his daughter’s new kitten. Gisele and Tom bulleted a joint custodial co-parenting plan during their divorce settlements. And the couple’s new Miami residences are also designed keeping the benefit of the kids in mind.

Gisele even sent a special message to Brady after his emotional February 2023 retirement. “Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life,” the Brazilian bombshell commented.
