Texas Governor Greg Abbott did not like the performance of the Cowboys kicker Brett Maher in the playoffs. He tweeted out his frustration, suggesting that he can kick as good as Maher has in the playoffs. Maybe Jerry Jones will ring up Abbott to sign him for next season.

“I swear, I can kick as good as the Dallas Cowboys kicker,” Abbott tweeted after Maher missed another PAT at the Levi’s Stadium.

Maher corrected himself in the second half of the game against the San Francisco 49ers though. He scored two flawless field goals in either quarter of the second half to keep the scoreboard moving. And both the kicks came when the Cowboys struggled to find the end zone in the game. QB Dak Prescott threw two interceptions in the same game. But one missed PAT attempt was enough for the NFL world to join Abbott in thrashing Maher.
