Tom Brady may be the GOAT, but he has a distinct image in the media sphere. The media often shared some of the QB’s clips that showcase him with an aggressive and tantrum-throwing personality. But Patrick Mahomes will always keep TB12 in high regard. The Chiefs quarterback mentioned a narrative that could alter everyone’s negative perspective they had over Brady.

NBC Sports’ Maria Taylor sat down with Patrick Mahomes for an interview. He talked about how significantly he evolved since entering the league and the creative flexibility he enjoys in Kansas City. Mahomes also mentioned his relationship with Tom Brady and their meeting after the 2019 AFC Championship game.

Tom Terrific is a Gentleman

Patrick Mahomes mentioned, “When we lost to them, I remember. I mean, obviously, I’m upset sad and I’m sitting locker and forever and I start to walk out and he’s there waiting and he could be celebrating. He is going to the Super Bowl and everything like that and all he said to me and it wasn’t a big thing. He said, ‘hey, just keep doing it. How you’re doing? You’re doing it the right way.’”

“As a Young quarterback, you just go out there and play and try to have fun and do whatever you can to appear team in the best position to win. But when the GOAT is saying that he said you’re doing it the right way. It kind of shows that you are doing it the right way. And so that was big for me,” He added.

Mahomes said that they discussed how Tom Brady does things in the offseason, how he trains during the season, and other minor details. TB12 has not yet given him all the secrets, but perhaps he will get them and include them in the game.

Will Patrick Mahomes play till 45 like Tom Brady?

Tom Brady is 45 but successfully began his 23rd season in the NFL. He is now the NFL’s oldest starting QB. But will Patrick Mahomes, 27, would compete in the TB12 benchmark? He made his answer heard, which could have mixed reactions among the NFL Universe.

Mahomes stated he wants to remain as long as he can to help this team improve. It could be tedious to play until one is 45, and he doesn’t want to stay there simply clinging on.
