The Cincinnati Bengals are going through grim times after a colossal loss in the AFC Championship game. The franchise and ‘Who Dey Nation’ had enough trash talk for KC, but it looks like trouble is brewing in their own backyard, especially with Josh Sills’ controversy. As they deal with the shock, another athlete has fallen into troubled waters. Joe Mixon, the Cincinnati running back, has an arrest warrant issued in his name.
It is a critical juncture for the Bengals, as they are dealing with a setback at the hands of Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. But Joe Mixon anchored himself on thin ice and is now in legal trouble for pointing a firearm toward a person.

As per the New York Post, the law enforcement authorities issued an arrest warrant for Joe Mixon. Pro Football Focus’ Mike Renner first reported the incident, saying they could arrest the RB for aggravated menacing. Mixon allegedly told the woman, “You should be popped in the face. I should shoot you now. The police can’t get me,” while pointing the handgun at her.

An arrest warrant could lead to negative outcomes for the RB and his reputation. But Mixon’s agent Peter Schaffer said to the NFL Network the authorities would call off the athlete’s misdemeanor charges on Friday. Schaffer said it to be a hasty judgment and also stated that authorities have a moral responsibility to consult with the person’s reputation before pursuing a suit.

Mixon’s misdemeanor charges are coming after Eagles Guard Josh Sills is facing rape and kidnapping charges ahead of the Super Bowl LVII. The athlete got derailed and is on the commissioner’s exempt list. It would prohibit him from involving in team practices and traveling with the Eagles, which would indicate that he will not be in Glendale, Arizona.
