On February 1st, 2023, Tom Brady made it as clear as day that he would retire. Some critics might say that he could yet again reverse his judgment and return to the game. It looks like that thing could happen, as an NFL pundit is hinting toward it. The football community might witness another TB12 turnaround with a significant team, and the fans are buzzing over it.
Tom Brady went through several developments in 2022. He had the limelight, be it the divorce, his return from retirement, or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ unfruitful season. It is the second time that the NFL GOAT chose to step down for the game. But there are still wild speculations around that.

Is Tom Brady heading home?
Tom Brady might be retired. But PFF’s Mike Florio has some other theories in mind. The NFL pundit focused upon a scenario when the San Francisco 49ers put up their interest in the NFL GOAT. The Insider mentioned, “Brady could be the missing piece to the first San Francisco Super Bowl victory in 29 years — since the 29th Super Bowl.”
Yes, Tom Brady is retired. He'll nevertheless become a free agent next month, and the 49ers have real quarterback questions — again. Is this the year they finally try to get him to come home? https://t.co/GJ9RtmJIFD

The NFL Fandom also came up to keep their thoughts on the situation.
One user pointed out the primary reason being he is not a good athlete anymore.
No…the primary reason being that…he’s not a good QB anymore.

Another user said to give it a rest.
Give it a rest Mike

I think he comes back

Moreover, this user is enough already.
Enough already! Time for him to go!

This user said the Niners would not need Brady, as they have adequate force.
That won't happen 49ers have ..Lance and Purdy as their quarterback
— Billy Burleson (@BillyBurleson8) February 24, 2023
However, if Brady would make his comeback with the 49ers, this user wouldn’t be surprised.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up on the Niners. Purdy will be out most of if not the whole year. Lance is not the answer. They are built to win now.

Do the Niners need the NFL GOAT?
Florio’s comments are just speculations. Since Tom Brady already sent out his official letter to the NFL and NFLPA about stepping down, the chances are unlikely. However, when the QB1 becomes a free agent by next month, he will have the authority to pick wherever he may choose to go.

With Jimmy Garoppolo becoming a free agent, the franchise remains with the odds of Trey Lance and Brock Purdy. The franchise has good quarterbacks. But Purdy stands out as he pulled up a standout performance.
