The Cincinnati Bengals had a great NFL season this term. But just as the team crashed out of the AFC championship game, bad news started to roll out for the franchise. Running back Joe Mixon landed in legal trouble after allegedly pointing a gun at a woman. And now, his court order has gone viral on social media.
Mixon had an arrest warrant against his name on ‘aggravated menacing’ charges. And a Hamilton County court has issued an order on that charge.

A Cincinnati court has dropped the charges against the Bengals running back Joe Mixon. Former franchise cornerback Adam Pacman Jones shared the court order on Twitter. “It’s always two side to a story people !!! We love you @JoeMixon28,” Jones wrote in the tweet.
The order went viral on social media with the fans giving their opinion on the matter. And the NFL world seems divided. A fan wants Mixon’s lawyer who got the case dismissed so fast.
I need his lawyer. Ive never been able to get a charge dismissed without going to court.

The order comes as a relief for Mixon, who has his place on the Bengals roster in question. The Bengals need to extend QB Joe Burrow‘s contract and are looking to create space in the salary cap. But what were the charges against the running back?
The allegations against Mixon
Joe Mixon allegedly pointed a gun at a woman last month in downtown Cincinnati, a day before their divisional playoff clash against the Buffalo Bills. Authorities charged Mixon with a misdemeanor aggravated menacing charge. The Bengals acknowledged the charges and said that they are investigating the situation.

“The club is investigating the situation and will not comment further at this time,” the statement said.
Mixon’s mother reacted to the charges and vehemently defended her son in the situation. She maintained that Mixon didn’t do anything and termed the victim money hungry. Now that the situation has evolved in the RB’s favor, it will be interesting to see what the Bengals do.
