Russell Wilson is one of the highest-paid QBs in the NFL. Irrespective of his 2022 season in Denver, he has made a significant life for himself. Ironically, the inspiration that drove him to succeed in the NFL is something that he can never buy. And a few years ago, the $245 million star revealed what that thing is in his life.

Wilson has a great career, a beautiful family, and everything one could hope for in life, but there is more to life for the one-time super bowl champion.

Russell Wilson went to the Denver Broncos on a big-money contract. But all the money in the world cannot bring back someone the QB misses dearly in life. And that is his father. Wilson lost his father Harrison Wilson III back in 2010. And on his 10 death anniversary, he paid a tribute to the person who instilled the three things in him that are necessary for success.

“Dad, I miss you every day You were and still are one of my greatest inspirations. You helped instill Perspective, Vision & Belief in me. 3 things necessary for not only success but overcoming. Jesus blessed me with an amazing Dad in you and I will forever cherish my time with you,” Wilson wrote about his father in 2020, according to People.

The then-Seattle Seahawks QB had just one wish in life, to go on a ride with his father again. Surely there are things in every person’s life that can’t be bought with money.

“If I could have one wish in the world, it would simply be to able to go on a ride with you again and jam out to Earth, Wind, & Fire ‘Devotion’ again. Love you! See you again one day,” Wilson added in the emotional write-up.

He has everything a man could hope for in life. If his father was alive, he would be happy to see how his son’s life turned out.

Russell Wilson is a family man. He has two biological children with singer Ciara, whom he married back in 2016. They are daughter Sienna Princess and son Win Harrison. And Wilson is the stepfather to Ciara’s eldest son Future Zahir. So, he has a family anyone would hope for.

Apart from the family, he also has a great career in the NFL. He was an integral part of the Seahawks franchise for a decade before moving to the Broncos. Although it went a little downhill, he would be keen to pick it up again.

Wilson has a new head coach Sean Payton, to work with. And the fans are eager to see what they can conjure up on the field. His father will be very proud of what the QB has accomplished since he departed.
