The Steeler Nation was in a constant dialogue regarding the Health of legend Terry Bradshaw. After a very concerning appearance on the last NFL Sunday, the talk about his health became very prominent among the fans. Thankfully, the 74-year-old has issued an update on his wellbeing.

Terry Bradshaw is currently an analyst with Fox on the NFL Sunday show. However, the recent appearance of the man came under heavy attention. Looking visibly in pain, many fans speculated about the icon’s health. Recently, on a positive note, he addressed the public concern on a live Facebook stream.

Terry Bradshaw’s health update

He clarified his health concerns were due to a radiation treatment he is going through for cancer. The former player explained that the treatment helps him maintain fluid in his face and jaw. Making that side of his face numb. “I may not look fine, but I’m totally fine,added Bradshaw.

It did become clear though that the treatment is not for non-cancerous tumors, as it was reported previously.

The Hall of Famer also told the fans about his lung issue. “I have a lung issue from surgery.A nerve was blocked and what is happening now is asthma. I have been dealing with a lot of stuff. I’m not someone who wants to talk about it and say, ‘Woe is me, poor Terry.’ I am just telling you, so people shut up.”

The former quarterback’s Legacy

Terry Bradshaw played for 14 seasons in the NFL. After being drafted as the number 1 overall pick in 1970 by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He went on to become one of their greatest players ever, getting the nickname of Blonde Bomber for his deep throws.

Along the way, the quarterback picked four super bowl championships and 3 pro bowl selections. And 1 all pro first stream selection. One of his greatest achievements will still be the game of winning play against the Raiders in 1972. The bizarre play came to be known as the immaculate reception and is still talked about with the same curiosity and interest it was back then.

The player retired in 1983 from the field. After a decade of absence, Terry Bradshaw joined FOX as an analyst and a co-host. He has now become one of the most known faces in sports broadcasting with the show NFL Sunday.
