Ever since the fallout, Antonio Brown and the Buccaneers have never been on the same page. This eventually led to his dismissal from Tampa Bay and the NFL. After the incident took place, many around the NFL and the Buccaneers organization points out the notion that Brown is dealing with mental health concerns. Now, Brown has addressed all his mental health-related concerns.

WR Brown and his shirtless mid-game exit, waving the ‘peace out’ sign to the fans in the MetLife Stadium, highlighted the moment. A day after the incident, he gets cut from Tampa Bay. The former NFL athlete has been vocal about the incident since then.

Antonio Brown declares he isn’t insane

Antonio Brown told “CBS Mornings” co-host Nate Burleson in his first network news interview since the episode that an ankle injury that his coach did not address seriously sparked the on-field confrontation. Some speculated that Brown had mental health concerns or suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, as a result of this event. Although Antonio Brown vehemently denies any mental health issues.

He mentions in the broadcast, “I never had a mental health diagnosis. I never had a issue or problem, I don’t take pills. I just got a high IQ.”   

He also disclosed to Burleson that he underwent some counseling through the NFL. However, he could not establish contact with a counselor.

Since his departure, Antonio’s attention has switched to his rap career. Donda Sports have associated him and Kanye West, where Brown is the President. In recent times, he has been good friends with Floyd Mayweather, who is ready to throw in his money to see the former WR back in the NFL.

Antonio Brown is now looking for a return to the NFL. Brown stated in an interview with TMZ.com that once he receives a commitment, he would step up to the plate to get the ankle surgery performed. Clearly, no club has expressed an interest in signing the 33-year-old. It is yet to see if fans will see him back in the NFL.
