There are certain players who have cooked up a storm this season in the NFL. From side-arm throwing quarterbacks to electrifying wide receivers to bruising defensive tackles. This season is filled to the brim with talent, and one of the fastest emerging ones is Cincinnati Bengals’ Ja’Marr Chase.

Ja’Marr Chase has had the perfect start to his NFL career. The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver has won games for his franchise, and earned his way into the AFC Offensive Player of the Week list. If there’s one man Chase looks up to, it is Green Bay Packers’ Davante Adams. The 99-rated Madden superstar is many players’ inspiration.

Like Adams, Chase is also a wide receiver, but when they battled, only one emerged victorious. Davante Adams’ side beat the Bengals in overtime, thanks to insane performances from Adams himself, and of course Aaron Rodgers. Ja’Marr Chase put on a spirited performance, but couldn’t topple the former Super Bowl winners.

Chase recently revealed how much he adores Davante Adams, and has even made a claim about wanting his shirt. Quoted by Bengals’ favorite reporter Ben Baby, “I hope he sees this. Can I please have the jersey, please?” Come on Davante, just make the poor boy’s wish come true. After all, you do hold one victory over him.

The Packers picked up a close 22-25 overtime win over the Bengals, which took them to a 4-1 record. Now, they stand at 7-1, with Kansas City Chiefs as their next challenge. Unfortunately, they will head into battle without their gunslinger, who tested positive for COVID-19. Will the Packers survive Kansas City without Aaron Rodgers?

Coming off a tough loss against New York Jets, Cincinnati has to go into rebuild mode. They cannot escape their camp without being absolutely ready for their next challenge. Fortunately, their next opponents also have a sad camp, and an even sadder campaign thus far, Cleveland Browns.

With talks of Odell Beckham Jr splitting from the side, the Bengals will find comfort in the fact that most media attention will go to that controversy. This allows them to pick apart the Browns on the field methodically, with Joe Burrow running things from QB position. Burrow has been a blessing to the Bengals this season, and he’s surely in line for MVP.

Will the Browns battle hard enough to ward off the hungry Bengals, or will they succumb to the most impressive side this season? Burrow remains keen on leapfrogging the Ravens to top the AFC North. Maybe this is the week they do it for good?
