Choosing to pen an emotional letter to the Raiders Nation, Carr poured out his heart to fans via social media. As a part of the Raiders franchise for the last nine years, the QB has undoubtedly come to call the team his home.
The quarterback also alluded to the time he said that he would quit football if his tenure with the Raiders came to an end.

An extract of the note to fans said, “I once said that if I’m not a Raider I would rather be at home and I meant that, but I never envisioned it ending this way.” The Raiders Nation, who did not have the best relationship with the QB, especially in his final season, shared their thoughts.
