The Patriots legend teases comeback
Julian Edelman established himself as a legendary wide receiver in the Patriots dynasty under head coach Bill Belichick. With players like Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola around him and Tom Brady orchestrating the plays, Edelman won a flurry of titles. Edelman stepped away from the game before the start of the 2021 season, but fans have repeatedly urged him to make a comeback.
And he hinted at just that in the new teaser of ‘Julian Edelman- A Football Life”, a documentary based on his life. The teaser started with a question about his dream of playing football again. Edelman asks the crew behind the camera about the airing date of the documentary. After confirming that, he hints at a comeback with a subtle warning.
“I don’t know,” the legendary WR said. “But there are about 12 plays a game. I guarantee that I can get open and catch a ball right now. Because we all know that the football season starts after Thanksgiving,” the Patriots legend added.
An Edelman comeback?

Julian Edelman started out in the NFL in 2008. The Patriots snapped the wide receiver up in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft. But it wasn’t until the 2013 season that he established himself as the mainstay in the New England side. And once he did that, there was nobody to catch him and none to stop him. He did not look back again.
Edelman won three Super Bowl titles in his career at Foxborough. The wide receiver won the MVP award in the 2019 Super Bowl. His legendary status was confirmed when he made his way into the Patriots All-2010s Team and the team’s All-dynasty team.
