What is the secret to conquering the National Football League and winning multiple Super Bowls? Well, according to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, it’s not his two-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. Apparently, the secret ingredient is 7x World champion Tom Brady’s underwear.
The NBA World saw the rise of Air Jordans after Michael Jordan popularized it in the nineties. And Travis Kelce may be doing the same for recently retired Tampa Bay and New England Patriots legend Tom Brady’s underwear brand.

During a recent episode of the New Heights podcast hosted by Travis and his Philadelphia Eagles center brother Jason Kelce, the former revealed his obsession with the NFL’s most-winning quarterback and his apparel label, Brady Brand. While deciding which Pokémon would best suit Tom Brady in the special ‘NFL players as Pokémons’ episode, the brothers decided on the strongest of them all; Mewtwo.
And besides being all-powerful, Mewtwo also sported a pair of purple underwear. Travis Kelce suddenly recalled he owns the same pair from Brady Brand. “Mewtwo. Dude, that looks like him right there. You can see it in the cheekbones. wearing Brady underwear. I actually have a pair of Brady underwear in that purple color right there. I got my Tom Bradys. Trying to be great out here, dogs,” the Chiefs No 87 said.
Tampa Tom launched Brady Brand in January 2022, during the time he announced his first retirement from the NFL world. However, he came out of that to play one more year and hung up his boots at the end of the last season in February 2023.

The Brady Brand lucky spell is suiting Travis Kelce and all those surrounding him. Kelce just surpassed Brady’s former teammate Rob Gronkowski in postseason touchdowns (16) this season, only trailing in the all-time list to the great Jerry Rice (22).
The luck also rubbed off on the Chiefs and his quarterback Patrick Mahomes. No 15 went on one of the most heroic runs in playoff history, fighting a high ankle sprain, and winning the Vince Lombardi trophy against all odds.
