NFL players are dedicated to their crafts. In the process of bettering their performances, they go to extreme levels in honing their skills. However, sometimes the drive to get better at match game awareness and agility comes at the cost of other players on the team. In the NFL, one of the major tasks of a linebacker is to attack the quarterback and hold the defense.
Recently, Micah Parsons, the Dallas Cowboys linebacker has come under the scanner. For improving his tackles and defense prowess Parsons is committing a sin! He?s regularly giving challenging tackles to the team?s quarterback. With the training sessions going under full swing this week, the head coach has also reprimanded the ever-improving linebacker. Though there?s no bad blood between the players the efforts need to be under check. Parsons seems unfazed by the criticisms coming from the camp and is focused on making this season count.

Parsons has gone all out in tackling the team?s QB- Dak Prescott. Speaking on the same, the 2X First-Team All-Pro replied “I challenge myself and push myself to the limits, preparing myself for my mental space for where I want to be Sunday, Monday, and Thursday. That’s my mindset?.I? get warnings every day. But you know, I’ve always been wanting to push towards that line.? The mentality is great and the linebacker feels he?s game ready. In the bigger scheme of things, the entire coaching staff would be hoping that the 2X Pro Bowl winner emulates his performance in actual games.
The big and strong-armed linebacker is zoned in ahead of the new NFL season. The 2021 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year winner is now in his third season. With impressive sack numbers of 13.5 sacks, three pass breakups, and 65 tackles behind him, this year will unleash a different version.
