Gisele Bündchen recommends self-defense
Earlier in 2022, Gisele Bündchen shared a video of one of her Jiu-Jitsu sessions with the Florida-based Valente Brothers. In the video, she takes on a man twice her size. But her special skills in Jiu Jitsu allow her to take him down easily. And that is what she recommended for every woman. For her, it builds confidence.
“I believe the more tools we have in our toolbox the better, I feel stronger, more confidence and empowered since I started practicing self-defense. I feel it’s an important skill for all, but specially for us women,” she wrote in a tweet accompanying the video in February 2022.

Even her then-husband, NFL great Tom Brady, seemed to agree. Brady, who had retired from professional football then, said that his days of keeping the dishes in the sink are numbered. But in the end, his retirement days were numbered as he returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a few weeks later.
Bündchen the Philanthropist
Apart from being a legendary supermodel, the Brazil-native has worked on the upliftment of women and the marginalized sections of society. She supports at least 12 charities and foundations working in the field of women empowerment and environmental causes.
She has worked and is working on various causes related to women like her own ‘The Luz Foundation.’ The foundation works on the goal of empowering young women. This is done by providing access to basic needs for the said women and their families.

She works for the conservation of the environment, especially for the tribes in her native country of Brazil. She has supported the cause of fighting deforestation in the Amazon basin.

Bündchen could do all this because she had the confidence in her to make a difference. She is giving back to the society in form of advice and social causes.
