On Sunday, Tom Brady booked his place in the 14th straight playoff of his career. The last time the 45-year-old missed the postseason was in 2008. After defeating the Carolina Panthers in an exciting game with elite throwing talent on exhibition from both sides, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers clinched their second consecutive NFC South division title for the first time. The victory has ensured the team’s playoff seeding as their record of 8-8 is not going to get them higher than the 4th seed in the NFC. But Brady still remains adamant about playing the last game of the regular season.

While there is absolutely nothing on stakes for the Buccaneers in their upcoming game against the Atlanta Falcons. TB12 is still in no mood to take a day off and watch his team play from the sidelines. The QB has insisted on his interest in starting the game on Sunday. On his Podcast, Let’s Go! With Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald. Brady had a blatant reply to his co-host, Gray, who called the upcoming game a meaningless one.
“I think when you say it’s meaningless, I understand the context,” Brady explained. “But I don’t think anything’s meaningless and everything’s in preparation for what’s ahead. I think that you could look at, okay, it’s not gonna matter per standing, but it matters because you’re a professional, it matters because it’s a performance, it matters because it’s your job, it matters because it’s football season and we’re paid to be football players.”
Also weighing on the decisions that will be needed to be made by the team. “I’m not the head coach, so I don’t make those decisions.”

“Whatever he wants to do, I support.” Brady ensured, but he also proceeded to make a convincing case for himself. “I love going out there and playing, I love trying to get better. We’re 8-8, we don’t have all our problems solved. I mean look at I look at it like we gotta use every opportunity every day of practice to get better.”
Todd Bowles could see the point that Brady was making. The 45-year-old is on the last stretch of his career and winning is still as important. When the playoffs begin, the QB would want to give himself and his team the best chance to win. But their offensive line is still not producing enough to give Brady the time to throw game-winning passes. For the entire season, the offense only crossed the 30-point mark twice and has often struggled to score.
