When the Packers registered three consecutive victories after a frustrating loss against the Vikings in the season opener, fans believed that the team was back on the track.
However, an international loss against the Giants in Week 5 and a Week 6 stumble raised several eyebrows. This forced the management to evaluate their plans moving forward. While speaking to the reporters after the game, Aaron Rodgers called for simplifying things and seemed unhappy about the performance.
The passer also mentioned that he and general manager Brian Gutekunst had several conversations regarding the issue. “I’m not attacking anything,” Rodgers said. “I just think that based on how we’ve played the last two weeks, I think, it’s going to be in our best interests to simplify things for everybody — for the line, for the backs, for the receivers, especially with [Randall Cobb’s] injury.”

Any time there’s a lack of execution… to me, it’s about digging into the details of what we’re doing. Because I think you could see that, and it falls on everybody.”
