Cam Newton’s NFL career is currently on life support. The athlete has not witnessed the light since last year, and it might continue this year. Newton was a trailblazing quarterback, but the spark seemed to have faded with time. The free-agent quarterback is still fighting for the opportunity. However, his loud-mouth attitude on social media has pissed off a Pro Football Hall of Famer.
On the April sixth episode of Undisputed, the panel spoke over Cam Newton setting up a list of his top landing spots. A former NFL TE was not a fan of Newton’s latest youtube video and lashed out at the free-agent quarterback.

Shannon Sharpe looked unhappy with Newton calling the shots after the Auburn Pro Day. In his opening statement, Sharpe held no remorse over the former MVP. He mentioned, “Cam needs to put the camera down. The problem I have with Cam is that his arrogance is suffocating. This man was out of the entire NFL last year, and then he comes in with a wish list. These are the teams or these are the players I’m willing to back up. I don’t have a job but I’m only willing to work for Apple, Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Amazon, Salesforce, American Express, Wells Fargo, Walmart and Target. I don’t have a job! I don’t get all the shots! Cam, do you realize this?”

Sharpe said that his attitude explains why teams haven’t contacted him and that the athlete’s pompousness shades him because he considers himself the old Superman. Unc also said that if he had been the 2015 Cam, he wouldn’t have missed a single game last season.

On Pro Day, Newton showcased he can still sling and make deep passes. The Scrambling tactics are a plus one. The athlete has a strong arm, but there were some inaccuracy issues. Newton miscalculated some snaps in some of his 30+ slings. It seems Superman is rusty but could the rust come off if he is given a chance to sharpen his skills on the field? Will any teams be willing to take the chance? What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
