Louis-Dreyfus is a nine-time Emmy award winner for her performance and production of the HBO comedy show “Veep”. She won six-Emmys straight in a stretch from 2015-to 17. While all these statistics are on board, the five-time All-pro defensive end believes claims that she is underrated.
Louis-Dreyfus responds to Watt’s Tweet
Louis-Dreyfus is unarguably one of the best comedy superstars gracing her presence on the silver screen. It seems the Cardinals DE, J J Watt, is a fan of her wit. Taking on Twitter, the DE shared his concerns for the actor. “Julia Louis-Dreyfus won 6 consecutive Emmys for Veep, and I still think her performance might be underrated”. Watt tweeted on Wednesday.

While it seemed like a random message for his fans, the very next day, it received a response from the actress herself. Louis-Dreyfus responded to the tweet in a satirical way, yet hailing the NFL superstar for his achievements.
“Yeah, but I don’t have 102 sacks. Yet” she wrote. Fans were keen to react to her response. Despite being such a great actress garnering millions of followers more than Watt on social media, Louis-Dreyfus displayed her humbleness and respect for the NFL star.

The last time Louis-Dreyfus won Emmys was in 2017. She received the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Comedy Series as an executive producer for “Veep.” The 61-year-old was one of the lead characters in the world-famous show ‘Veep’, and the sitcom ran from 2012 to 2019 as one of the most popular shows in the American television industry.
JJ Watt: A future Hall Of Famer
The three-time defensive player of the year awardee is one of the greatest players in the current era of the NFL. The 33-year-old pass rusher’s 102.0 career sacks are currently rank tied for 33rd in league history. However, his performance has been deteriorating over the past few years.

In the previous season, he needed surgery to repair several torn ligaments and dislocated his shoulder against the Houston Texans in Week 7 of the league.

The last time Watt logged a double-digit sack was in 2018 when he collected tot 16 sacks. The previous season recorded his career-low in terms of sacks. J J Watt made his entry into the NFL with Houston Texans. He got selected in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft. He stayed with the Texans for ten seasons before getting traded to the Cardinals in 2021.
