The Kansas City Chiefs QB, Patrick Mahomes, is a star on the rise. Along with being a great quarterback, he is blessed with a beautiful wife and a child (while the other is on the way). Mahomes married his high school sweetheart and long-time girlfriend, Brittany Matthews, this year. She is a professional soccer athlete herself who played in Europe. Although Brit is the fun-loving cheerleader of her husband, as fans see during the match-ups, she also has estranged parents.
In a podcast, the host talked about her graduation from the University of Texas. After Brittany Matthews graduated in 2013, she went on to play college soccer. The soccer player signed the UMF Afturelding/Fram in Iceland in May 2017 to play professionally.

Also, she opened up about the family dynamic. The host asked if her (Matthews’) parents attended her soccer games. Matthews revealed, “My parents are divorced... I don’t even know what it’s like to have parents that aren’t divorced.”

This is a major contrast to what Matthews’ childhood was. Because of this, she has grown to become a successful entrepreneur. She launched her own fitness company named ‘Brittany Lynne Fitness’. Along with that, she is the owner of Kansas City Current, a woman’s soccer team.
