Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are running the table after an extremely slow start to the season. The Green Bay Packers lost five games in a row in the first part of the season. However, with their injury troubles slowly subsiding, the Wisconsin franchise has become a legitimate playoff contender. However, their QB’s injuries have compounded slightly.
The reigning back-to-back league MVP knocked his knee in their win against the Miami Dolphins last week. And this was a valid cause for concern for Aaron Rodgers since the 39-year-old has suffered a plethora of injuries during this season. However, things might not be as bad as they look for No.12.
Concerns grew when Aaron Rodgers missed the Packers’ Wednesday practice and became questionable for their crucial matchup against the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday. But A-Rod has clarified all doubts and concerns over his unavailability and said it will be “business as usual” on Sunday.

“Today was a nice little Veteran’s Day for me,” the 2010 Super Bowl MVP said about missing the Wednesday practice. “I got a lot of body weight on my knees. Just been doing rehab last few days and feel a lot better. No, I felt good. I think I’ll be out there tomorrow,” Rodgers added in the locker room press meet.
Aaron Rodgers addressed the injury-prone season he is currently having
It seems like ‘Father Time’ has finally caught up with Aaron Rodgers. The 39-year-old has suffered from a broken thumb injury for the major part of this season. And the fracture being in his throwing hand complicated things further. However, Aaron played through. On top of that, he also sustained a rib injury against the Philadelphia Eagles. And now with a heavy knee, A-Rod’s tolerance for pain looks to be his standout feature.

Rodgers clarified that the knee knock didn’t impact his game against the Dolphins and that he barely felt it during the second half of the game. However, once he got on the plane, he felt some fluids accumulating and reported the injury.

The Vikings and the Lions lie in their path. After that, they’ll be in the playoff, hopefully.
