Sweat honestly replied, “I’ll be real with you. I didn’t watch football growing up.” But that wasn’t the only shocking statement he said.
Sweat may have added fuel to the fire when he added, “I think watching football [is] kinda boring.” It would be very unusual for an athlete of such caliber to call the game boring, but Sweat quickly clarified that training and playing were not boring. From the looks of it, the DE doesn’t spend his days off keeping track of other teams’ games. Or maybe he dislikes watching game film. Upon hearing his admission, here’s how the NFL world reacted.
