But he has dealt with it quite well. In a recent Instagram story, he shared advice that brought him to where he is at the moment.
In the story, Crosby is in his car, as he talks into his phone for the story he is about to share. Crosby says, “Every single day you wake up, you got an opportunity. I can tell you first-hand, when i wasn’t working as hard. I wasn’t getting what I was getting. Three years later, I have been consistent, I have non stop, I am passionate as ever. I always had passion, I always had the mindset but, I didn’t have the F****** work and consistency behind it.”

In an article published on ESPN, upon the cusp of Crosby’s 18-month milestone, the Raiders DE shares details of his journey and tussle. Crosby recalls the difficulties he faced, “It got to a point after my rookie year my life became unmanageable.”
Maxx sheds light on alcoholism and his family as he shares it runs in his family. With that, he admitted the hindrances it brought. Crosby says, “I knew it was something that was always a crutch. I always knew I had a problem.” Crosby admits the difficulty it brings but reflects on the benefits years down the line. He says, “I know five years, 10 years down the road, I’ll look back and be like, that was the biggest offseason of my life even though I was just trying to get my s— together.”
