Russell Wilson is a gigantic part of this year’s offseason twists and turns. After his flight as a Seahawk, he now rides as a Bronco. Both Wilson and Ciara have become the face of the Broncos ever since he arrived in Denver to join the franchise. The power couple has been engaged in humble deeds and has also been active on social media platforms.

Channing Crowder, the former NFL linebacker, makes retreatment over his statements on singer Ciara Wilson. Crowder withdrew at least some of his comments on ‘The Breakfast Club‘ on Tuesday. He declares he never should have brought Ciara into the conversation. He mentions, “Bringing up Ciara, bringing up the man’s family — I’ll take that back.”

However, the former NFL player refused to take responsibility for his portrayal of Russ. He states, “Have ya’ll seen Russell’s videos?” Crowder asked. “Have you seen, ‘Mr. Unlimited’?! And, this goofy s*it he does?! I don’t know why so many people were mad at my opinion of Russell Wilson is a square and a lame. I didn’t call him an alcoholic. I didn’t call him a deadbeat dad. I didn’t call him a pedophile. I called him lame!”

Even though Crowder told the panelists that his remarks about Wilson were not personal. However, his retract on Ciara may look over the boundaries, which he regrets now.

What were Crowder’s remarks on Russell Wilson and his family?

One of ‘The Pivot‘ podcast clips featuring Channing Crowder began emerging in April 2022. The video also features Fred Taylor and Ryan Clark, who were present. The former LB mocks Russell Wilson’s marriage, showing that the Grammy Award-winning songwriter is only with him for his money. He also refers to Denver’s new star quarterback as “a square”. He also questions Ciara’s type, who was with rapper Future, but then left him and chose QB Wilson.
