The Ravens are no longer leading the entire AFC division after the defeat on Sunday. Their record is 8-4.

However, they are still on the top of the AFC North table. The Steelers now have the record of 6-5-1, and rest in third place. It was anybody’s game until the very last minute. The Ravens were the favorites to win the bout on week 13. But the Steelers scored an upset.

After a fruitless first quarter, Devonta Freeman put the first points on the board in the second quarter. A 99yard touchdown drive put Baltimore in the lead. With 27 seconds left on the clock, the Steelers managed to put it between the sticks and get 3 points. The first half ended with a score of 3-7.

The third quarter was stale as well. There was action but not a lot of points on the board. The Ravens scored a field goal and extended their lead by 7 points.

The fourth quarter opened up with a score of 3-10. This was the quarter where Pittsburgh turned the game around. Diontae Johnson made a touchdown for the Steelers after just a minute into the fourth quarter. But they failed to get another point with the field goal. A couple of field goals and touchdowns by both sides made the game 20-19.

Did Lamar Jackson and Andrews fail the two-point conversion?

The match was now in its final moments. The Ravens had just scored a touchdown. They had the choice to go for a field goal and draw the game or try a risky two-point conversion and win.

Obviously, the brave Ravens called for the two-point conversion. Lamar Jackson made the call and tried to find Mark Andrews. He threw the ball towards Andrews, but he couldn’t catch it. It slipped from his fingertips. It cost the Ravens the game.
