Russell Wilson faced the daunting task of stepping into big shoes upon joining the Broncos. Following Peyton Manning‘s retirement, the team struggled to uphold his illustrious reputation and experienced repeated disappointments despite trying out multiple quarterbacks. Season after season, it was nearly agonizing to witness the team’s continual struggles and their liability to find success. In an effort to turn things around, the team placed their trust in Russell, investing a whopping quarter of a billion dollars over a 5-year period. As a result, the team is stepping up their game and decided to make changes in the management, which even gained Manning’s attention.

He was let go last season after leading the team in only 15 matches, with only 2 games left in the season. To fill the void, the Broncos then turned to Sean Payton, a highly respected and accomplished coach.
