Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson seems to be learning the ropes from the success of legendary franchise QB Peyton Manning. Both Wilson and Manning were recently seen together in a video from the franchise announcing their schedule for the upcoming NFL season. The Broncos seem to be sticking with their award-winning Intern idea for this season as Manning introduces Wilson as the new intern in town.

It was a well-thought-out video and a clever representation of a change of guard between two elite NFL QBs in the Mile High City. Manning was reprising his role as the summer intern from 2021. He was guiding Wilson, the new intern, about how the things were being run.
While Wilson completes all the tasks asked of him, he forgets the important job of printing out the 2022 NFL schedule.
The franchise has received some interesting fixtures right out of the gate. It might possibly set the tone for the rest of their season for the Broncos. Wilson will begin his journey as the brand new Broncos QB with a trip back to his old stomping grounds with the Seattle Seahawks. It will be an emotional game at Lumen Field and marks the 9-time Pro Bowler‘s first time competing against the Seahawks.
NFL Twitter Plays ‘Who Did It Better’ with Peyton Manning or Russell Wilson
As the video clip nears the end, Wilson recreates the famous Manning swimming pool pose with his right leg in the water and a tab in his hand. It seems to be a subtle nod to the former Super Bowl champion with the Broncos and his internship last season. The Broncos fans will hope Manning continues to mentor Wilson and helps him adjust to life in Denver.
The NFL fans took to Twitter to share their views on Wilson’s attempt at recreating the iconic pose. Some fans were far from pleased with Wilson trying to ape Manning’s pose. While some others took to opportunity to mock the former Super Bowl champion.
