“I Can’t Walk”: Wheelchair Bound Kevin Hart Reveals Story of Debilitating Injury With Ex-NFL Star

Kevin Hart is going through some unfortunate times. The comedian-turned-actor took to Instagram on Wednesday to share an update that gave a glimpse into his current predicament. Hart kicked off the video with a resigned ‘welp’ that gave away Hart had a not-so-happy update, as he himself admitted.

The hard-core Philly Eagles fan is stuck in a wheelchair following one of his shenanigans. The forty-four-year-old actor chalked up his misfortune to his attempt at doing “some young stuff, which really did not pan out well obviously. His apparent mishap involved a bet with an ex-NFL star, which took an unexpected turn.

That was a bad idea!

In retrospect, Hart realizes that to challenge the former Patriots running back Stevan Ridley to a footrace might not have been his brightest idea . When the duo met at a BBQ, Hart impulsively challenged Ridley, despite the runningback’s warnings that beating him would not be easy. Hart’s confidence got the best of him as he proceeded to go forward with the 40-yard sprint challenge.

And just like that his foot did not go as he planned and the outcome? Hart ended up in the wheelchair after tearing his lower abdomen and adductor muscles.“I can’t walk. I have to sit my a** down” the actor quipped, referring to his temporary predicament.

Hart’s hilarious commentary on his ‘dumb’ venture had the internet in splits. Ridley hopped in on the laugh ride as he responded to the viral video, who really thought Hart could do better, despite his forties. “I SAW @TOMBRADY DO IT AT YOUR AGE SO I FIGURED YOU HAD THE JOICE TOO BIG BRO!” Ridley wrote, referring to his former team captain, Tom Brady. “MY BAD @KEVINHARTFOREAL! HEAL UP AND PEEKP MAKING US ALL LAUGH!”

And seems like Hart also had some profound revelations about his age.

A humbling experience for the actor

The actor admitted that the unlucky dash was “one of the dumbest things” he has ever done in his lifetime. However, he did not think it could be enlightening, as the forty-year-old realized the importance of respecting his age.

“To all my men and women out there that are 40 years old and above. It’s not a game, respect that age,” Hart said in the clip”Respect that age, or that age will make you respect it. I was just forced to respect it”.Hart quipped.

As the hilarious video wraps up, Hart never fails to entertain even in the midst of his wildest times.
