The entire NFL world seemed to have tuned in for the ‘Pat McAfee Show. And yes it had everything to do with Aaron Rodgers. After making everyone sweat their hair off, the former MVP just made an appearance on his dear friend’s podcast, and it seems the QB came in with a bag full of surprises for fans.
Rodgers made it clear that retirement is not on his list and he will be back on the field. A-Rod went on to throw the entire NFL into a frenzy, as his next preferable destination just so happened to be New York Jets. Rodgers eluded to his ‘darkness retreat’ helping immensely with his decision-making process, and clarified that he felt Green Bay Packers had already moved on.

Aaron Rodgers finally broke his silence about the chaos engulfed around him. He went on to answer a number of unsolved mysteries, while systemically separating the truth from fiction.
During his interaction with Pat McAfee, Rodgers eluded to the signals he received from the Green Bay front office, “There were some conversations around what you gonna do in the offseason, that honestly didn’t have a big barrier on it. Felt it was my last time in Green Bay as a starting quarterback“.
Rodgers even went on to share his take on Jordan Love filling his shoes, “I was open to that change based on how people responded, It was more just a sense, you drafted Jordan if I hadn’t won MVP twice in a row, this would have been a conversation two years ago, which is totally fine, I get it”
Rodgers recalled the guys he came in with, and felt that this current Green Bay roster needed a different set of individuals. He said, “It’s just a different regime and every regime wants to have their guys”.
Reports of Aaron Rodgers handing New York Jets his own customized wishlist of players have been circulating for a while now. While many around the league want to wholeheartedly believe this narrative, Rodgers denied making any such demands. “That’s not the reality, that’s just ridiculous. It’s so stupid. Now did they ask me about certain guys that I played with, of course, did I talk glowingly about teammates that I love, yeah? Why wouldn’t you? Do I make demands about certain people? I mean, it’s just. And people want these things to be true”.
With the Jets already eyeing up some of Rodgers’s current teammates, the 4x NFL MVP might find his next destination to be a pleasant one. In addition to Nathaniel Hackett, the Jets intend to acclimatize Rodgers with a couple of familiar faces around him, and that could potentially be the final cog in the wheel.
NFL fans are excited
Amidst all these revelations, NFL fans found themselves in a frenzy. Many of these fans took to Twitter immediately. One fan even somehow found a full-circle moment with these revelations.
So much pressure on Jordan Love to succeed……

NFL Insider Conner Hughes even called the recent developments ‘crazy’.
Aaron Rodgers is urging the #Packers to get this done.
This meaning a trade to the #Jets.
Crazy this is happening.

Love #AaronRodgers harping about honest communication and open dialogue like he hasn't held them hostage with his "will he, won't he" garbage for multiple seasons, or like he hasn't been passive aggressive most of his career instead of direct. #Rodgers #Jets #Packers

One particular user felt that this deal might not work out for the Jets.
I may be in the minority here, but I am bearish on the Jets with Aaron Rodgers. They probably make the playoffs with him, but they are not a Super Bowl contender. Their defense will likely regress a bit, and their offense is not any better than what the Packers had last year.
