Green Bay Packers end Minnesota Vikings’ playoff hopes
Entering into their first match of the new year, the target was simple for Minnesota – do not lose any of the matches. Unfortunately, they didn’t seem to get the memo as they failed miles short of their target. While losing is a part of the game, it’s the way the Vikings lost is that’s irking the fans.
Yes, the Vikings missed Kirk Cousins who tested positive a day before the match. Yes, Aaron Rodgers was in a spectacular form [288 yards, 2 TDs]; but losing a must-win tie 37-10 without even hinting of a fight is simply not done. The fans as expected were disappointed and some even left midway saving themselves from the embarrassment.
