The fans as expected were disappointed and some even left midway saving themselves from the embarrassment.

This is the second consecutive season that the Vikings haven’t made the playoffs under Mike Zimmer. With yet another disappointing season, speculations are rife of Zimmer’s exit. The 65-year old however is unfazed by the talk.

“Regardless of anything that goes on after the season, I can stand proud,” Zimmer said, [h/t St. Paul Pioneer Press]. The Vikings HC then added that he is simply grateful for the opportunity and wants to cherish it. “When I walk into a stadium like Lambeau (Field) or I walk into U.S. Bank Stadium and I say to myself, ‘A billion people would love to be sitting here right now and doing this job.”‘
