Tom Brady is the most atypical quarterback ever but still the best there ever was. He has nothing left to prove himself in that regard. Afterall, he has more Super Bowl rings than the most successful franchises in NFL history. But Brady, who is 45-years-old, has received a challenge from an NFL legend who himself retired at 34.
Three-time Super Bowl champion QB Troy Aikman has issued a challenge to Brady for a 40-yard dash. But Brady may answer it by defeating Aikman’s team, the Dallas Cowboys, in the upcoming playoff clash.

Troy Aikman challenged Tom Brady for a 40-yard dash. Speaking on the ‘Sports Illustrated Media Podcast’, Aikman called the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB the most unathletic under center.
“I kid him about it — he’s the most unathletic quarterback in the game. I’m 56 years old, and I’m pretty confident I can outrun him in the 40-yard dash,” Aikman said.

This could be some mind games before Brady takes on the Cowboys in the wildcard playoff round at the Raymond James Stadium on Monday. But even if it is, nobody believes that it matters at all as far as TB-12 is concerned. This is a fact that even the seven-time Super Bowl champion has admitted during this very regular season.
“I just can’t run, and I can’t jump. So, running and jumping are a problem,” Brady had said before the clash against the San Francisco 49ers this season.
Aikman never faced Brady on the field as the former retired the year the latter was still a backup at the New England Patriots. But surely Brady’s running abilities are the least of anyone’s concern when Aikman’s old team faces him in the playoffs. And Brady has shown this season that he still got it.
