After the New England Patriots quarterback ended his contract with them, Tom Brady hit the market as the shining new free agent. Every team wanted him. And why wouldn’t they? He’s statistically one of the best QB in the league.

And there certainly was one team that grabbed the GOAT’s attention. However, the team did not go through with the plan and gained a player instead. But the veteran quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick, claimed he is the man the team eventually chose. So, Derek Carr was not the real “motherf*cker”?

Tom Brady appeared on HBO’s ‘The Shop.’ On the show, he discussed his experience as a free agent, his Super Bowl wins, and several other topics. The remarkable and most memorable moment of the show was when the 45-year-old quarterback revealed a team wanted to get him up on their roster.

But some “motherf*cker” did not let that deal happen. Brady reported: “And all of a sudden they weren’t interested in the very end. I was sitting there thinking, ‘You’re sticking with that mother f—er? Are you serious?'”

And now the former quarterback of nine different teams, Ryan Fitzpatrick, announced he’s the real guy Brady talked about. He said on a show, “I think I still am. I think I still am that guy. If you go back to that … before the 2019 season when the Dolphins are trying to assemble a roster that is going to help them get a better draft pick the next year, so it’s not like that was going to be an attractive situation for Tom anyway. So, I’m not sure why he was so upset about it, but I still to this day believe that I am that mother f*cker.”

Another team that flirted with Brady was Miami Dolphins. However, they got into some serious trouble for infringing and impermissibly contacting the talented quarterback.

After Brady made that iconic statement about a fellow QB, people wanted to know more, some thought the player TB12 referred to was Derek Carr. Because recently, Dana White disclosed he forged a deal for Tampa Tom and Rob Gronkowski. The UFC honcho wanted the former teammates to play for the Las Vegas Raiders, but Jon Gruden nixed the deal.

Hence, it only made sense for people to put the pin on Carr.
