In the sports industry, the commentators need to be unbiased and report straight facts. There’s no room to get emotional. However, it doesn’t mean that you can’t be a fan of a particular team and have strong sentiments for them. The journalist and correspondent Skip Bayless has had his heart broken, and no, it’s not because of a person. He was heartbroken about what happened to the Dallas Cowboys’ Cornerback.

Skip Bayless’ expectations from the Cowboys took a huge blow after what happened to Trevon Diggs. Although the team’s offense is top-notch, they’ve taken a huge jab on the defensive side of things. He made bold predictions about the Cowboys going to the Super Bowl, but the fate was his enemy.

Bayless recently shared his thoughts about the injury that cornerback Trevon Diggs recently suffered. The Cowboys’ defense is back to square one after Trevon Diggs went through a torn ACL during a one-on-one practice session for the upcoming game against the Arizona Cardinals. Bayless was devastated by this injury as he shared the emotional tweet. “I’m devastated by the loss of Trevon Diggs”, wrote Bayless in the tweet.

Further disclosure revealed that this was a season-ending injury for the quarterback, possibly the same fate as Aaron Rodgers. The Fox Sports commentator is the biggest self-proclaimed fan of the Dallas Cowboys and gets biased toward them sometimes. He often makes far-fetched predictions about the team that are often not in his favor. Some have labeled him as a “contrarian provocateur” which basically means that he promotes controversial arguments regardless of popular opinion.

The Cowboy who ran out of bullets

The cornerback suffered the injury and left the practice camp on crutches. Upon the MRI, it was confirmed that the ACL of his left knee was torn. His return is not set in stone as of now. Following Trevon Digg’s season-ending injury, there is a huge hole in the Cowboys’ defense pockets. Dak Prescott is “praying for the best”. The quarterback would have to rely on Micah Parsons for a while.

According to recent developments, the Cowboys are moving Daron Bland to the same position. It’s unlucky for the Cowboys because Diggs signed a $97 million contract extension at the start of the season. What’s noticeable is that Diggs plays a key role in the Cowboys’ defense as he calls out the plays. The good news is that he is still listed as a limited participant with the team.
