Colin Kaepernick was once known as the greatest quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. The team that had gone three long decades without a Super Bowl victory finally had hope. Until it all came crashing down back in 2016 when the star QB kneeled down during the national anthem. Although it still remains a controversial topic, Kaepernick’s career might have ended that day, as he remains a free agent since. Then, in a recent update, the former QB found an ideal workaround to make a comeback.

Footballer-turned-social activist is a mere three months away from his highly anticipated comeback in a digital form. He will star on the cover of a video game titled ‘Wild Card Football’, alongside several other big names from the league. The NFL star faced numerous conundrums after his famous kneeling in front of thousands if not millions. After being let go from the 49ers, veteran QB, Michael Vick threw shades at Kaepernick for his hair. He advised Kaepernick to cut off his hair in order to find a place on a team’s roster. It was much like what the famous singer Marley had faced, even after his tragic death. People went as far as to claim that the Jamaican singer had a different species of bugs in his hair. However, they both are regarded as legends in their own realms, sharing an unexpected love for football.
