However, Wade’s recent drama with his wife’s “50/50 Bill” Split claim seemed like the main topic of discussion.

It has only been a few months since Wade’s wife, Gabrielle Union, claimed that she splits every expense 50/50 with her husband. The 3x NBA champ came on the show and explained how the whole thing is taken out of context. He further added that they split their expense only on a few things that are most important to them, by saying, “We decided that certain pieces of our life, we will share in it.” in the podcast.

The NBA Finals MVP further explained that he and his wife are two grown independent people and that his wife has been famous long before him. Moreover, the Heat legend also claimed that they would make fewer headlines if his wife wasn’t her own woman.

Wade wants to do better together

Sharpe also pointed out in the interview that people interpreted that the couple does everything 50/50 and that’s why the whole thing spread like wildfire. The 3x NBA champ claimed that he wants to do better together with Gabrielle, as it takes two to make a family whole.

Wade provided additional clarity regarding their prenup agreement and confirmed that he and his wife both are in a mutually decided accord. Moreover, the NBA MVP added that there are many things in his life he has to spend money on, including, his mother, his father, his nephew, and his wife, that are out of public view.
