Everybody knows that the Green Bay Packers quarterback is a peculiar guy. The 39-year-old QB has always been unpredictable and wayward with his words. Not only that, Aaron Rodgers probably deliberately makes sure that no one knows his next move. Therefore, after an embarrassing season, the former MVP-winning shot-caller thought he needed some ‘me time’ in order to rejuvenate himself. Don’t think that is a normal trip to a spa or a trek. It is something unusual. Something that the seven-time Super Bowl-winning QB, Tom Brady, had opinions on.

It is understandable that A-Rod had a tough year. The former Super Bowl winner’s future is up in the air. Will he stay with Green Bay or will the team trade him to some other franchise? Or will he hang up his cleats? No one knows. But one thing is for sure and that is the quarterback’s need to protect himself from useless technology. Hence, to focus on himself and to closely pay attention to his innermost thoughts, Rodgers planned a four-day darkness retreat.

It is not far-fetched, nor is it too weird to think that the ten-time Pro Bowl QB would think of something like that. Considering his romance with psychedelics, this is probably the least shocking thing he came up with.

What did Tom Brady think about Rodgers’ four-day vacation?

The retreat will help him meditate and focus to deal with his thoughts.

While talking on ‘the Pat McAfee Show’, Brady said“It stimulates DMT, so there can be some hallucinations in there but it’s just kind of sitting in silence, which most of us never do. We rarely even turn our phone off or put the blinds down to sleep in darkness. I’m really looking forward to it.” Most of us would book a vacation to Mykonos, but that works too. But does it work for the great TB12? What did he have to say about this?

Rodgers’ buddy, who recently retired, approved his method. On his hit podcast, the Tampa Tom said that Rodgers should not retire from the league because teams need good signal callers. Brady also believed that it is very much important for everybody to stay away from the screen. “I think we all need to get off our phone a little bit more. I think we all need to get away from the TV a little bit more. I think we all need a little more nature and a little more silence and a little more peace. And however he’s going about it, good for him.”

Hence, now that A-Rod got the green go from his colleague, he can start his important retreat. Maybe he will come out with a definite plan that he will share with his fans. Additionally, if it may go well, Brady can also join him.
