The Detroit Lions did not have the best 2021 season. They had the worst record in the entire National Football League last year. The Lions lost over 10 games straight. Their first taste of victory came in week 13 when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings with two points. Detroit ended its last NFL campaign with a record of 3-13-1. The Lions definitely do not want this to repeat. They are already making moves with Aidan Hutchinson to prevent a fall next season.

Who is Aidan Hutchinson?
Aidan Hutchinson is a product of the famous University of Michigan. He was a defensive star in college. Seeing all of his achievements, the Detroit Lions wasted no time to select him as the second overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft.

As a freshman in Michigan, Hutchinson played in all 13 games, and he made 15 tackles. During his sophomore year in 2019, the DE again started all the games, but this time, his performance was better. He made 68 tackles and 4.5 sacks. Aidan’s junior year was cut short due to injuries. He only played the first three games that season.
2021 was his best year in college. The young athlete broke the team’s single-season sack record. He made 14 sacks in his senior year and won a lot of awards.
