Veteran running back Melvin Gordon is currently in his eighth season in the NFL, which is not going well for him. Last week, the Denver Broncos released him from his contract after a series of fumbles by the 29-year-old RB.

According to the latest reports, Gordon has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad and will soon be an active player for the Chiefs. Notably, most teams are looking to increase the strength of their squad before the playoffs. However, many NFL fans, particularly the Chiefs fans, are not happy with this signing.

Earlier NFL insider Tom Pelissero posted the news on his official Twitter handle about the Chiefs acquiring Melvin Gordon. After seeing the news, many fans showed mixed feelings, as one fan took a dig at the Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes for getting plenty of help.

One fan feels this was a good move for Gordan, as he is ring-chasing at the moment.

One fan mocks the NFL front office for getting another help for Patrick Mahomes.

Meanwhile, one Broncos fan felt relieved and called Gordon a fumble machine.

One fan hilariously predicted the future of Gordon.

One fan gave a firm warning to Gordon about getting another opportunity in a top team.

Another fan talked about his past teams and joked about him going to all the AFC teams.

One particular Twitter user wants the Chiefs to put him in a necessary position. If he fumbles, it would be really ironic for the Chiefs.

Another Chiefs fan reminded everyone of Gordon’s fumble history from the last season.

It is worth noting that Gordon already made 5 fumbles this season for the Broncos. His last fumble came against the Raiders, which was the last nail in the coffin for Gordon, as the Denver team decided to release him. Apart from the fumbles, he played 10 games this season for the Broncos and rushed 318 yards, and caught 25 passes.

Now the Chiefs have added him to their squad, which did not go down well with the fans. It will be interesting to see how coach Reid and others use him during the playoffs.
