Everybody knows that marriage is a hard deal. It requires an equal amount of effort from both partners. Because it is a complicated deal, people struggle to keep it afloat. This became a major issue in the Tampa Bay QB’s perfect marriage. Tom Brady and his supermodel wife, Gisele Bündchen, faced inescapable problems in their marriage. Bündchen was not happy with the fact that the NFL GOAT would not retire from the sport.

During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Tom Brady explained that the marriage did not make the fashion model happy. To her, it seemed like the Bucs QB only paid attention to football and his other money-generating ventures. And she took care of their family.

According to Bündchen. Brady would practice football all season. At the end of the season, his focus would be on his “business activities.” And his wife would not have let him get away from a father’s duties.

How did Tom Brady make up his wife?

Because of the Super Bowl-winning QB’s busy schedule, Tom Brady could not spend enough time with his family. Even after his wife pleaded various times to retire from the NFL. But nothing could keep him away from the sport.

He said, “She wasn’t satisfied with our marriage, and I needed to make a change in that….Her point was, ‘Of course this works for you… but it doesn’t work for me,’… I had to check myself. Because she was like, ‘I have my goals and dreams too.'”

To make a healthy transition that made his family happy, Brady made an unexpected announcement after the 2021 season. It was on February 1st that the Tampa Bay QB retired from the NFL. In the meantime, he took trips with his family to Europe.

However, it did not last for more than 41 days. Brady sent fans into a frenzy. In the retirement post, he thanked his wife for her precious contribution to his success. It seems like the work and life balance is great because Brady’s absence from training camp this season could be set aside for family time!
