Judy Coughlin was a big part of her husband’s coaching career since its origin. The Coach won two Super Bowls, defeating Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. Coughlin and his wife have been married for 55 years. Moreover, she left a legacy of four children and eleven grandchildren. It has sent shockwaves across the football fanbase.

Former NFL coach Tom Coughlin lost his beloved wife, Judy, at 77. She was battling a prolonged illness. As per Fox26, Coughlin mentioned in 2020 that his wife had progressive supranuclear palsy. It is an unusual brain disorder that gets worse over time.

Tom Coughlin and his family penned down an emotional statement after the passing of the former coach’s wife’s passing. The statement mentioned, “My cherished wife and our beloved mother and grandmother, Judy Whitaker Coughlin, passed away this morning at the age of 77. Judy was a remarkable woman in every way. She lived a life filled with love and unselfishly gave her heart and soul to others. Judy made you feel like an old friend from the first hug to the last.”
