Deshaun Watson had quite a time in the NFL. However, he has become notorious for the multiple misconduct charges against him. The Browns’ QB1 might have a prominent personality despite his issues. But when he was with the Texans, the quarterback had a decent run. The quarterbacks’ room had an uninterrupted flow of ideas, and Davis Mills shared an appreciation for the former franchise quarterback.
The Texans have a new head coach and are not dealing with the Deshaun Watson situation. They had a strong draft and high ambitions to make up to the playoffs. However, Watson made an impact and led the team to the playoffs. Davis Mills mirrored how every quarterback collaborated and how the former quarterback assisted him.

As per Texans Wire, Davis Mills mentioned, “He’s helped out a lot. What he’s done with me, any questions I have, like the other guys, too, he’s an open book and he’s taught me a lot.”

In 2021, QB Davis Mills was a rookie, and Tim Kelly took charge as the offensive coordinator. But given that Deshaun Watson was present before both of them, the former quarterback helped Mills learn about the offense. He applauded how the franchise veterans supported the rookies to learn the OC’s offense.
Ever since Deshaun Watson took off for Cleveland after a headline trade, the Houston Texans saw Davis Mills as the starter. It would be a reunion for the quarterbacks, but with different teams.

Deshaun Watson would make his grand return against his former team, the Texans, while on the road in Houston. But the game would have some special spectators in attendance. As per ESPN, Attorney Tony Buzbee said about ten women who accused Watson of sexual misconduct look forward to attending the Browns‘ game against the Texans on Sunday at NRG Stadium. They’d be watching him perform in his comeback from an 11-game suspension.

Watson would make his regular-season debut when the Browns take on the Texans. He will also make his playing return after a two-year layoff from the game. It would be a big moment for the franchise quarterback as he takes on his former team. The Browns are fresh off defeating the Buccaneers, and the Texans could be the next in line.
